This is the only in-person show that I'm doing this year. I've been taking a sabbatical year and I've had many adventures. Three big out of the country trips that had been in the planning for a long time.

In January I went to Buenos Aires and a quick last minute addition to Calafate in Patagonia to see the blue glaciers. Then on a cruise to see the icebergs in Antarctica, making stops all the way down to the tip of South America. How I would love to explore that continent more.

In March I flew to Perth, Australia to visit my daughter in Fremantle. We explored the wine region in Margaret River, camping in eucalyptus forests eating meat pies and Lamingtons that now I can only dream about. Sunsets over some of the most amazing beaches that I've ever seen fuels the dream.

In September I traveled back to Switzerland with my brother, Tim. It was a sentimental trip revisiting Geneva where we spent 7 formative years growing up. Then drove to some of the ski destinations that we went to when we were young for some high alps hiking and celebrations of welcoming the cows back from the alpine meadows. Cows with flowered hats, I'm in! Finishing off our trip by following the path through the canton of Bern that our ancestors took in the 1600's going forward until my great grandfather moved to the States at 14 years old.

Then three trips in the States from the West coast in Seattle to Brooklyn in the East finishing up in Omaha for a family memorial. Now it's time to remain planted for awhile and make sense of it all. It has been an interesting experience and one of reconnections with friends from many different periods of my life.

I'll be making new styles as I replenish the website then hope to plan capsule collections that will come out every few months. The first one will be fur hats that will launch on February 1st.

New hats to follow.

If you need any help finding a hat or wondering about the sizing feel free to call, make sure and leave a message if I can't pick up.  After more than 30 years making hats I'm an expert.
